now. The top division used to end somewhere aroundabouts the end of April, and the cup final used to be about May 6 give or take a day or two, and that was allowing for playing four more matches than the current top division players do in the league now.
Spurs finish their league programme this season 24th May, with the cup final at the end of May. At this rate the seasons will soon start to overlap, especially if all the clubs decide they want a mid-season break.
Let`s get on with the cricket season now. I like to keep things traditional.

The league season hasn't ended around the end of April for about as long as I can remember. Just to check that I wasn't going bonkers, 20 years ago the season ended on 14th May.
Not the 28th May though is it?
