My perspective of the transfer hasn't changed much;

Clyne (very questionable too)
Promote:
Henriquez
Lingard
Hamez
Thorpe
Loan:
Januzaj (season long, make weight for Depay)
Wilson
Pereira
Blackett
Pearson
Powell
XI - A
DDG
Clyne Hummels Smalling Shaw
Pogba
Herrera Gundogan
ADM Rooney Mata
XI - B
Valdez
Rafa Jones Rojo Hamez
Blind Carrick
Depay Lingard Young
Henriquez
Fringe
McNair
Thorpe
RVP
I would be very very happy with that next season!
But how realistic is this and what do you think?

Hamez is Reece Jamez. It softens the blow of not buying James Rodriguez. Its not a team A vs B thing. I just tried to split the players to show cover/depth of the overall squad!

So why not just show the team that could start the season.
Then cover players in each position.

Whats the point of that when #philosophy will kick in have players playing out of position?

Henriquez? Nah, he's really not good enough to lead our line in team A or B.
And Lingard hasn't shown any reason why he should be playing for us yet.

Horrible teams.

See them as an overall squad not teams.
@Robb, no he hasn't but with his recent development on loan, I have no reason to doubt that LvG can do wonders with him as a cover. Surely he has to be better than what Falcao has done this season. Plus, I'd rather he got a chance rather than going for Ings.

There should be a clear strong XI with support in all areas to a good level. These 2 sides are far too even to be able to easily pick preferred players. Most of the best teams have an obvious 8/9 players who will fit in a best XI and then the rest either fighting for spots or as back up.

I agree. Where we went wrong in recent years was to inflate the squad with good players - far more players than we needed - without having a stand-out top quality first 11 (or even half a dozen players who were obvious starters that picked themselves).
