Business Will Be Done Early and Efficiently

I have a very good feeling about this summer.

We could face Chelsea in the Community Shield game providing we win the FA Cup and with the chance of avoiding 4th we can start preparations incredibly early and lay down a marker.

We won that game in August and although it didn't influence much in our season the way we thought it would in the end, it certainly gave indications about City's state, so it will have an influence in some ways.

Arsene will also be closing in on his last 2 seasons imo and the CL & Title will certainly be his most desired targets within that timeframe, I think even he will know he has to gamble on quality now.

3 QUALITY signings through our outfield spine rather than various £15m-ish signings will take us far. Departures may allow for 1 luxury signing

We've had enough debates over which personell should be added but if I had to choose it'd be 3 players that will start and improve us.

Hummels - £30m - Overrated, yes but still very good and adept in possession, has most of Mertesacker's qualities with added aggression. Slow but not AS slow as Per which is always an improvement. If United have a chance then so should we

Wanyama - £15m - Not the Kodogbia, Scneiderlin type of signing everyone wants but a dominant sitting player someone who will bring a quality nobody in our squad has of happily sitting in front of the defence and bullying attackers. PL proven and can deputise at CB

Higuain - £35m - Very, very clinical and in the Europa this season his link-up play is a lot better than I initially thought, he seemed to be forced into a very limited role at Madrid but he's a good all round player, great movement, knows Ozil well.

Dybala - £20m - Luxury signing I guess, we need a left footed wide man, Campbell is yet to convince. Paulo can play across the front line has magic to his game and has potential.

I think Sczesney and Ospina is good enough competition for now as both can grow and improve.

Out: Sanogo (loan), Jenkinson (loan), Poldi, Flamini, Campbell

Keep Santi & Theo.. no point selling 2 of our best/efficient players if we want to improve. Wilshere's sell isn't even a discussion point for me

Gamble on Diaby if we get him on a pay-by-play then we will be paying him for quality. If there's a lack of space I wouldn't register him till Jan if he proves his fitness.

Our numbers are currently good and I expect our injury crisis to hit again therefore will need quality to rely on during the hard times. Wanyama effectively replaces Flamini, Higuain for Poldi and Dybala for Campbell

-----------------Sczesney/Ospina
Bellerin---Hummels---Koscielney---Gibbs
-------Wanyama/Coq------Ramsey/Jack
--Ox-----------------Ozil----------------Alexis
---------------------Higuain

Bench: Shez/Ospina; Gab, Monreal; Jack/Rambo, Santi; Theo, Giroud

Squad: Martinez, Merts, Chambers, Debuchy, Arteta, Diaby, Rosicky Dybala, Welbz

I count 27 players: Chambers, Bellerin & Dybala won't require registration, DJ can correct me if I'm wrong meaning we'll register 24 from the allotted 25, so it's well balanced.

We will be complete and very much improved with competition in every department.

No need for Wanyama with the emergence of Coquelin. And no to Hummels, unless for £15 million
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When Coquelin is injured we're back to where we were. He needs competition if not someone that will effectively kill him off. Wanyama fits the bill for me and we can use both in certain games or moments where we need to sit.

Coquelin has done very well to limit his game but naturally he's still a defensive box-to-box player and could develop an Alex Song-itis where he completely disregards his role in the team and lets a couple of assists get to his head in thinking he should be more attack minded. Doubt it but never know.

Regardless we need to upgrade on the departing Flamini

Much rather sign a GK ahead of two players up front tbh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A GK is welcome but I think outfield is more urgent especially in defence. I also really have doubts Cech will be allowed to come to us therefore there's little left.

Lloris is his clause is true, maybe but isn't worth sacrifising other positions for.

Cassilas, maybe, but demands will be high.

I think our current competition is fairly healthy at the minute I'd give it another year before chopping either. Still have big hopes for Shezza.

Improvements in other positions have been gaping for a longer time now

Wanyama is not good enough on the ball to play for Arsenal. He's even worse than Coquelin in that aspect.

He has no range but he's very good at winning it and giving it to the better equipped player.

Coquelin is too but we've noticed his lack of range due to some of his natural attacking instincts where sometimes he wants to make a killer pass.

Wanyama doesn't even dream about going forward most of the time and we'll hardly notice his poor ball skills if his partner is in position.

We need another player different to the variety of ball players we have.

Will rid of Arteta, Diaby, Flamini and Rosicky.
Get Kondogbia; he can defend and attack.
An injury free season for Hayden will see blossom into a competent DM/CB

Hummels!

Sokratis is the better Dortmund CB.

Hummels at his best is class and an improvement on any of our CBs bar Kos.

Also considering what we need is a very tall CB who sits back like Merts does not another 6'1 / 2 CB that attacks the ball ffs

There is absolutely nothing to suggest business will be done efficiently and effectively. We always end a transfer window panicking and short in at least one key area - the club has it all to prove.

Your signings are ridiculous OP and none of them are going to happen.

Hummels - Good player, is he worth anywhere near £30M? Either of the other Dortmund CBs would represent far better value for money.

Wanayama - Really? Average to decent at best. Schneiderlin is far better than him and I don't think he's even good enough for us either. What we need is a powerhouse comfortable in possession and capable of carrying the ball forward, Kongdobia is the best option considering Pogba would be very unlikely.

Higuain - Nah, he's in his peak now and won't be for much longer, that ship sailed on him 2 Summers ago.

Dybala - 100% no. He is just a flavor of the month striker and is completely unproven for the fees being quoted.
