team.... even though Wenger has a shocking record against him it's interesting we're also the team he beats least often. His record against the top teams in incredible, none of them can find an answer to the tactics he uses in big games.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32433689
Liverpool...8 wins 1 draw 1 loss
City.........6 wins 3 draws 1 loss
United......5 wins 4 draws 1 loss
Arsenal.....4 wins 6 draws
He's a tactical genius and a great manager there's no denying that... I don't call him boring because managers only criticise him when they can't find a way to beat him. Managers never criticise teams when they win. I'm not a fan of his or the way he plays with a billion £ team but it works and Wenger needs to find a way to beat him instead of criticising otherwise he just looks silly.
Having said that in Maureen's first spell at Chelsea we dominated them in some games in a way that other PL teams haven't been able to do, and our failure to get the win was down to missing clear cut chances rather than their tactics. At other times they've beaten us easily and in a lot of our losses and draws we've failed to score and they clearly know how to nullify our attack.
When Maureen first came to the PL in 2005 that was the start of our 'financial restrictions', and within two or three years pretty much the whole invincibles team had been sold and replaced with inferior players. We built the team around Cesc and played more of a possession game, after a few years our results against the big teams started to suffer and we didn't adjust our tactics in big games.
But if you isolate our results against United (post Highbury) and Mourinho there was only a two of three year period where we flopped against all the top teams, which for me was down not adjusting our tactics but also the mental impact of selling our best players every year and the constant negativity surrounding us.
Wenger's not a tactician in the Mourinho sense of figuring out ways to beat superior teams, so when the quality of our team started declining and we were trying to beat better teams we struggled, but it's overlooked how we did against the best teams in the first 9 years.
We didn't lost against Spurs for a decade, we didn't lose to Chelsea for years, we've always had a great record against Liverpool and had a winning record against SAF until we moved to the Emirates.
Wenger is an idealist, his mistake was trying to win in the perfect way against all the odds and it exposed his flaws. Even then it nearly worked in 07/08 and we also got to finals, semi finals and were never a million miles off.
Feels like things have come full circle in a way and winning the title would be the perfect answer to all the critics Wenger's had over the last 10 years, I have faith he can achieve that and produce the magic most people have forgotten he is capable of. If we have a great team Wenger can do great things so it's all about the signings we make this summer, we need get them done early to give ourselves the best chance for next season.
So Maureen beats us less than any other

One thing you can say about Mourinho is he identifies problems quickly whereas other managers sometimes hesitate or gamble and leave their fans frustrated as they repeatedly come away from games saying "we'd be brilliant if we just fixed that one position".

yeah money solves problems in the transfer period.

Didn't help you lot for 6 months this year.

What a poor reply. You made a general assumption and I replied on that. What has half a year to do with it?

COC final we dominated you with a team of kids. Can't remember other specific games, my long term memory is not as sharp as it used to be but we outplayed you at times and had all the possession and chances, Chelsea were a clinical and efficient team and Drogba always scored.
Don't know what Chelsea are so butthurt about though I praised your manager, didn't say anything negative. Chelsea fans always on the defensive because nobody respects their achievements

no you didn't dominate you started the best but as the game went on it was obvious there was only one team winning.
So you say you can barely remember the games but outplayed us at times make you're mind up.

You didn't even support Chelsea then how do you know how the game went. You got battered by a team of teenagers and Drogba saved you.

Chelsea fans testimonies always degrade they have no useful contribution and they're easily grasped.

Mourinho loses very rarely against any manager. Fergie won once drew 5 times and lost 7 times i believe.
he is a big game manager for sure. Where he falters is against small team, or longeivity
