After an uncommonly warm Bank Holiday and a stroll in the peaks - let the countdown begin!
No 120, and the shortest Brewers career to date. Florent Cuvelier. 9 minutes and 11 seconds. Right place right time though, with a winning goal at Hartlepools to open up a two point gap that kept the chasers at bay. A clear winner of the "goals per minute" ratio until I impose a minimum 5 goals rule! Returned injured to his parent club, Sheffield United, which is a recurring theme with many of Jimmy's signings.
119 is another recent loanee. Jack Dunn. Around 18 minutes, but again, right place right time. He was on the pitch as we sealed promotion before returning injured to parent club, Liverpool.
Continuing the recent signing theme at 118 is Scott Shearer who finally got some pitch time on Saturday for around 21 minutes. Enough to be part of the eleven that were present at the final whistle of the Championship season.
At 117 the previous shortest career holder was Jason Banton, who ran around for around 23 minutes at home to Bradford City in 2011-12, though to little effect. Most recently with Plymouth Argyle, though not part of the match day 18 at Shrewsbury
All of the above have a single substitute appearance to their name. I have ranked my list by starts, then subs so 116 is the first with two brief sub appearances. Sam Austin has come through the ranks and is still around.
115 is Kevin Grocutt who also came through the junior sides and got on twice, most notably at the Don Valley Stadium when a three goal half time deficit to Rotherham was wiped out by Shaun Harrad. Dropped into non league but my trail goes cold at Mickleover Sports in 2013.
114 with three sub outings is Kevin Ellison. Hailed as something of a coup when he came in from Liverpool, only really hit the headlines after a fracas in a night club. Last spotted in Colwyn Bay, on loan from Conference North Barrow.
113, also three subs, but a few more minutes, Nialle Rodney. Loaned to us by Nottingham Forest. Was at Hartlepools United in 2013-14, but has dropped into local football whilst trying to build up a business.
112, with four sub showings. Serge Makofo. Once scored a hat trick for the reserves, though any one that saw his first team pitch time will wonder how. Whitehawk in the Conference South last season, though latterly loaned to Dulwich Hamlet.
111. The most sub appearances without getting a start (yet?) is eight, by Liam Slade. Maybe next year.
Have we found the missing man yet Otep?
101 to 110 tomorrow.All with a single start.

Nope, I have all of those on my list Steve.
May I just say that this thread (or series of) is absolutely brilliant. Statistics, facts and detail that have me captivated. It all brings back memories - good and bad. The 'where are they now' element is an added bonus. I am so glad that you maintained these records and regret not doing so myself.
I wonder how many of those 316 games I went to. Bournemouth are big news at present. Every time I hear them mentioned I recall sitting at Dean Court in 2009 in the hot sunshine watching us lose 1-0 to an 85th minute goal. They had a 15 year old on the bench that day.
