Podolski would actually be top class for West Brom. Find it odd that they're scoffing at others when they have Gervinho's brother Berahino up front.

One of the deadliest left foot around, gotta play to his game..which Top clubs like Arsenal cannot afford to do.

Shows how much money is coming into the prem when West Brom (who are a very well run football club and every inch a premiership outfit) are looking to sign Podolski.

Podolski would be a waste of money for West Brom imo

Yeah he'd bag you a few goals over the course of the season but he has next to no work rate, can't take players on, can't hold the ball up, doesn't track back.

You'd basically have to build your whole team round creating chances for him as a second striker and he's not good enough to make it worth doing that.

It's why I asked if he could defend. Berahino's scoring has suffered lately as he is being asked to concentrate on the defensive side of life, something he's not doing too bad at.
Could/would LP do the same?

I'm with Chris H. Over rated and over the hill which probably means that Pubis is tabling a massive deal as we speak. The deal will fall through because JP won't agree to a 3 year deal and then Pubis will turn to Carlton Cole.
