Owen Hargreaves is still available and must surely be worth a punt on a pay as you play basis; what do we have to lose. According to the Mail this morning OC is resigned to losing Cahill as Arsenal have made a revised bid north of £10m. If he is going to Arsenal we should use the money to go straight in for Dann and N'Gog. OC has also given up on SWP who is on his way to QPR, clearly a decision based purely on money and not football - and if this is all he was worried about maybe we have got a get out of jail free card.

Agree with Dann and N'gog, also think we should make a bid for Redmond, great potential.
However, I disagree with Hargreaves, he's lost it and we will be responsable for his medical costs and care which would make the deal expensive....

Nah. We have enough central midfielders now I think.

You don't know what his wage demands are going to be like.
Apparently he rejected a pay-as-you-play offer from United, so he might be being unrealistic about his demands, and he was on £80k/week at Old Trafford.

How does anybody know that he has lost it? We haven't seen him play for years!
Anyway, we don't need him. We have plenty of midfielders.
Brum want too much for Dann anyway. N'Gog is still on the radar IMO and I reckon we could complete that signing soon

We have absolutely nothing to lose in offering him a two week trial and could hit the jackpot.

No thanks.

We're OK in the CM department, and the last thing we need is an injury prone player anyway
Would like Dann though!!

Brum are going to want most of the Cahill fee for Dann. We won't get much cash upfront even if we sell Cahill. At most £10m with add ons.

He was all set for going to West Brom 2 weeks ago but I wonder why they didn't sign him. Yes thats right he failed a medical. Failed miserably i'm guessing.
We are running out of sick beds as it is - NO THANK YOU.
