"Now is not the time for introspection".
Surely to feck now is very much the time for introspection! You've just been routed in the polls and you've lost your own seat.
"I take full responsibility"
Then proceeds to blame everything and everyone else for the gubbing.
If he simply blames "nationalism" then he's a bigger idiot than I thought he was.
Jack McConnell was on Sky this morning saying Scottish Labour have to start again with a blank sheet and examine what exactly they are in the 21st Century. He's spot on.
Refusing to even acknowledge there's a problem will be even more disastrous for Labour than last night.
I have no idea how Murphy can continue anyway since he doesn't have a seat. I'm curious if the Labour voters on here think he should stay on?

As Admin 1 said earlier, he wont want to come off the gravy train.

The only reason I'd like him to go is because he attracts nutters and that embarrasses the country.
He's utterly unelectable though.

"Introspection". Funny word. Literally (and that's a genuine literally) the only context I've ever heard it in is a football manager or politician trying to do a press conference after a bad result or bad series of results.
If you ever have to use the word introspection in life, you know you've fecked up.

Yeah I would like him to go.
Every time he speaks we lose more voters.

He stood for what he believed
I don't agree with a lot he said but he had the right to say it
