This ought to be interesting with the different ages involved. No need to be embarrassed about them being crappy either as we were all only young. What I was allowed to watch of course made a huge difference in what my young impressionable mind was fond of.
1. Swiss Family Robinson - just the idea of living on a deserted island in a massive tree house with tons of animals and pirate enemies was more than enough. Throw in a hot girl who had lost her family on another ship just happening to be there and you have a masterpiece.
2. The Witches - scary old witches turning little children into mice. Whats not to like?
3. Commando - was made to turn around often but when I did see inspired years of playing "guns" outside with my cousins/friends.
4. Clash of the Titans - cannot summarize what this did for my imagination. A true masterpiece for myself.
5. Lady in White - i was 8 when I saw it and it began my love for horror. Still to this day its one of the creepiest films ive ever seen. The lady in white roams the cliffside to find her daughter who was murdered. The body nor murderer never found. Little boy finds himself involved and in danger. LOVE this film.
So what are your top 5?

I would really have to think about that?
Really think DÍck Tracy or Rocketeer may have been the first I can recall. Maybe the Flintstones. Not sure of the dates released though.

First one I remember was Empire Strikes Back for a friend's birthday. His dad forgot to take the cake with him, so we ended up singing happy birthday in his car as the birthday boy blew out his dad's lighter

Gonna go with Díck Tracy. I was around 9.
First film I actually paid for and went to without my parents was Jurassic Park. I thought everything would be that good after. Such a letdown.
