So how much is Mr Sterling worth?

I guess 75 million max....and only because he is an English. Can't pass. Cant shoot. Cant cross. Anyone who pays more than 75m for him needs their head checked.

I'm amazed so many Liverpool fans would be happy to see Sterling sold.

He's incredibly patchy in his form but he's a kid, that's to be expected. He's been pretty awful for the last couple of months which maybe uppermost in some minds but he's a great talent.

His attitude since the contract stuff came up has been really poor but if the club think they can get his head in the right place then I'd go a long way to keep him. Several pundits have suggested he's been badly advised, I wouldn't argue with that.

Personally I'd be really disappointed if Raheem left. And not just because I'd have to change my user name, I think we'd be losing a real talent and a potential star.

It's the nature of the footie fan. The second a player hints at any sort of disloyalty or desire to leave, he will become disliked or overrated by the majority. I've got to be honest, I really don't like the way all this has happened, and I think Sterlings attitude has been awful. He hasn't proved himself worthy of the (apparent) demands being made. I don't expect a player of his age to be up to the standard that demands 100k+ per week, but this is what he or his advisers want.

The other side of it is that he wants to be part of a trophy winning team. So he basically wants to go to a ready made successful team to win medals. That doesn't sound ambitious to me, it seems lazy. If he was truly ambitious he could really become a legend in his own right, by being here at the outset of a potentially successful era, and playing a leading role in it.

There really is no hope for you. I wonder when I see your posts if it's all one big act, which itself would be an extremely sad way to lead one's life, but I don't think it is. I genuinely believe you have some kind of mental issue, maybe as simple as a low mental age, maybe something more serious.

Either way, you really need to get your parents to get you some help

I'll take that as a no then

Sterling has the stats to back it up, he's done more in the game then many players of his age have, the proof is there for all to see.

Lots of room to improve but he has tons of ability and is improving all the time, he's a naturally intelligent footballer and is gaining huge experience playing in different roles for us this year.

Next season he needs a nailed down starting position, he's best centrally for me, Cout can play a bit deeper and then get a fit Studge or another striker into play number 9, that's going to make a huge difference for us.

That's good news for me, as Pedro must be worth 200 million - pounds not euros!!! No seriously, Alexis Sanchez is a far better player and you saw his market value. Your valuation would make the players better than him unbuyable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah, you appear to be making the assumption that a players value is based solely on their ability.

Completely wrong I am afraid. Players value changes due to ability, length of contract, age, competition, whether the club that owns them want to sell, the negotiating skills of the selling club, the draw of the buying club. etc etc etc.

And if they Bite

Wow, it really is the intellect of the people on here that I keep popping back for.

Make a point and you've bitten, well done. Keep contributing,
