We love Atletico don't we!

The 3 year Courtois loan, £32m on Costa, £15m on Luis- the (prolonged) sale of Torres... and now we are looking at all of Griezmann, Koke, Godin and Anderwiereld.

Understandable though, a great team with all of Jose's most admirable qualities. If we were to sign any of the above 4 though I would have them in a preferred order of:

Griezmann (Just class, fast, direct and can play across the front 3- may lead to Hazard playing more in the middle of the pitch)

Koke (Great cheaper alternative to Pogba)

Anderweireld (more versatile than Godin, can be used at RB too)

Godin (Top CB in general)

Looks like Luis may be going back there this summer too.

What makes you think Griezmann can play across the front three?

I mean LW/CAM/RW although he has played in a front 2 for Atletico

He's played DM for Southampton too, good player

Koke has gone off the boil this season, seems to be another who was overly hyped.

Can't see Atletico letting Griezmann go this summer.

They may have no choice £43-46m buyout clause in his contract with his agent being the infamously Jorge Mendes who has been a big part of Chelsea's dealings for quite some time. Also some Spanish reports saying Griezmann himself wants the move

Surely his clause won't be that low? Usually Spanish team stick a £100m+ clause on players like him.

Would be a great signing for anybody if that's the case though. Where would be fit in at Chelsea?

Atletico want him to sign a new contract as they believe that they set it too low 1st time around but if he doesn't sign it then they're pretty stuck.

If he went to Chelsea he would probably play LM so that we could move Hazard into the center with Oscar maybe on his way out.

In modern day football you can never have too many quality players as long as there is decent rotation in place- as Jose said before he hasn't rotated as much as he'd like due to the fringe players not doing enough to justify a spot.

Griezmann looks a top player but £43-46m is a hell of a lot of money. Especially when we've just signed cuadrado

Why do people want to push Hazard into the centre?

I hope you don't sign him

I'd like Hazard in the center so that he can have more freedom and get/release more 1-2's. For me I think that particularly against smaller teams he can break teams down bettter centrally.

Also with Griezmann we would have a player capable of cutting inside more often when played on the right. Something we don't have now with no left footed wingers.

Yeah, a general progression for technically sound wingers is to move centrally. Would like to see how Hazard would settle there, I enjoy watching him in and around the box.
