A pre-season friendly taking priority over a UEFA competition?
Assuming they qualify obv but surely on this basis the FA/premier league would be better stepping in and telling Everton to change their priorities or step aside.
with Europa League giving a champions league place now, surely its worth taking seriously.... and with the English co-efficient under threat from Italy, and the potential loss of the 4th champions league place down the line... give it to someone who wants it.

I must admit I hate Sunday game.
Sunday is a day for chillaxing,eating a roast and watching the match on the box,just not my team. I like watching a game where my emotions are not involved.

Regardless of when it starts if you dont want your club to be playing in a european competiton there's something wrong with that! Also the OP is a Man Utd fan and they sacked the FA Cup off one year if I remember rightly

Why wouldn't a fan want there team playing in a major European Competition? Playing in Europe will help entice a better quality player.

My head has been turned. Let's forget the best football we have played since the 80's and the highest points haul since the beginning of the PL. this is a man who relegated Wigan and I want him out.

Last season yes,the football this season has been crap. I'm also worried about our youngsters, whilst Stones has shone this season,Barkley and Lukaku have been average at best. Barkley has lost all confidence,and I believe Martinez is at fault.
