Not on the retained list
Not on the released list either
Does this mean he is an ex-player, he has ceased to play?
Stuart Holden retired?

Benny has it right. Contract was up last summer. The club have simply agreed to continue to give him any support he may want with his physio and when he feels ready he has the opportunity to come back over and essentially have a trial for Lennon to have a look at him.

WF, Correct. Holden came to England near the end of 2014. He had discussions with Lennon, who said he would take a look at him when he is fit.

Stu's contract
His contract was due up 31/06/2015 retired due to injury the remainder of the contract belongs to insurers along with registration. If he makes it back we will have to pay an amount to the insurers for him to play again. We've done the buy out once before when Sam bought a player back from an insurance pay-out who turned out to be alright for us ! Stu was only on 8.5k a week so wouldn't be too much to pay if he did make it to being up to playing again.

On a side note Chungy seems to be getting game time at Palace. Good luck Chungy.

Playing on the left side of midfield where he was useless for bolton. Lennon spotted his potential as a number 10 where he was best suited.

Still £500,000 from the Chungy transfer is due in about a week and a bit - the apparent clause for them staying in the premier league.

Wage bill dropped to about £23m. Season ticket sales £5m? Last parachute payment £8m. £0.5m from palace. Need to bring in £9m or so and thats without signing anyone just to break even. Not sure what other income streans the club has apart from the hotel which can't bring in that much.

The hotel was evens I think. They would have made a profit if they hadn't had to refund so many customers due to shortages of apples for Waldorf salads and the breakfast basket.

Chungy- I watched him play for Crystal Palace v Liverpool
He ballooned two great chances over the bar and was subbed after just 58min .
Looks to have lost a bit of pace ,and IMO not a premier league player anymore,

To be honest we haven't seen the best of Chungy for some time. Fleeting glimpses aren't good enough. We need players who are consistently good and who can stay fit. That's what worries me about Mavies. He's rarely fit for three or four weeks at a time.
I certainly wouldn't be pinning my hopes on him for the coming season.
