Brenda's Palace visit

Well, they were calling themselves "Champions" in the making at the start of the season.

They were shouting from the roof top that they are now attracting the top players after Brendan's u-turn on Balotelli and his signing with the club.

Brendan, even said that he expected his side to push on in the second half of the season and move closer to the top positions in the league, with an air of assurance pretty much misguided.

What a fool

His side was outplayed in Stevie G's last game, and his tactics are shambolic to say the least.

Over the season, some of substitutions baffled even the most hardcore of their supporters.

I said it last year, when Suarez led his side to the top two in the league and I'll say it today, in the light of a thrashing in the hands of Palace, this in LFC's back yard too.

This guy is a baloney, a fake and for me, he doesn't even compare to the opposite side's manager either.

Let him be there in charge as he is providing entertainment of a different kind. Hilarious antics with his one arm salute when they score and his quotes that are staggering for someone who has achieved as much as....Well, nothing

However, I end this article on Stevie G. I wanted it to be an article on Stevie, but the game and the way Palace tore into that side, just reminded me of what I really think of that manager.

Well, Stevie G is truly a one of a kind.

He will be missed by the true fans of the game.

It will be a very sad day for the love of the game: The day when Stevie G plays his final game.

I salute you Stevie G.

A true legend of the game and thank you for the memories

At the beginning of the season I thought that Liverpool might be challenging but anyway well done Stevie. 2 years in Los Angeles then back here as a coach somewhere. Good luck.

Yep, Rodgers is living off a one-off season when everything came together. They had a top player in the form of his career, no other distractions and a fresh squad being driven on by the media, and they still won nothing.

Rodgers has been proved to be extremely wasteful in the transfer market, over paying for ordinary players and only 2 or 3 of his buys could be classed as a success. Taking a look at the list of Rodgers` purchases and the fees paid, it is quite staggering how bad he has been.

To be fair I think Rodgers has reached par this season. In fact slightly overachieved with cup runs domestically included good performances and might finish 5th beating the sides home and away below them like Swansea Tottenham Southampton.

Rodgers took 18 points out of these games LVG only took 7 points out of these games.
