Survival Sunday Live

Today marks the end of the league season and we are focusing in on the title race, the champions league race and especially the relegation battle. Who will join Swansea in the championship next season? Who will join the top 2 in the champions league? Will Arsenal retain their title or are we on the brink of a new United evolution? Today we see the big game at the Emirates where Arsenal host Hull City in the title showdown. Meanwhile United are looking to win the title away to Wolves. Liverpool are visiting Newcastle today in the hope of getting Champions League football. City will look to stop them by beating a resurgent Leicester at home. Chelsea also face pressure from Liverpool and will need to beat a strong in form Portsmouth to stop them. Southampton can secure safety by beating relegated Swansea. Everton can also secure safety by matching West Broms result when facing Birmingham. West Brom need to better Evertons result by beating Aston Villa.

4th' Wow Swansea opened up the Southampton defence when Moutinho squeezed the ball to Dzeko who was played into a 1-1. The keeper managed to keep the ball just out. Close call.

6th Chelsea 0-1 Portsmouth

Who saw this coming? Great bit of play by Portsmouth there. Gotze ran the ball to Yaya there who, held onto the ball for a minute and then lobbed it over the top to a running Sterling who smacked it in.

10th' Great play by Arsenal when Coquelin lobbed it forward to a running Di Maria. He placed a well hit cross to Benzema who just headed it over. Meanwhile Lacazette completely mishits his shot against West Brom to allow the hosts to counter attack when Willian finds Bony in the box. His shot unfortunately went straight to the keeper.

12th' Man City 1-0 Leicester

A great run from Ribery passed the Leicester fullback allowed him to cross the ball to Harry Kane who neatly headed it past the keeper.

16' A great attack formed by United as Fabregas finds Mandzukic in space. He takes a touch to the right and then hits it straight at the side netting. Meanwhile Newcastle's Suarez makes the perfect run into the box but messes up as his shot is intercepted by Boateng.

18' Chelsea 1-1 Portsmouth

A great equalising goal by chelsea as Vidal puts the ball into space for Sanchez who runs past Gibbs quite easily and then places it in the bottom left corner.

19' West Brom 0-1 Aston Villa

This couldnt come at a worst time for West Brom. They desperately need a win but they have just made it hard for themselves. Lacazette makes the shot but unfortunately it hits the post and Reus follows up with the rebound and in.

22' United again get on the attack as Hazard plays it past the full back onto a running Mandzukic, who plays it back to Fabregas who's shot is put over the net. Meanwhile Leicester's Jese makes an ambitious shot outside the box but is easily caught by the keeper.

25' Southampton starting to dominate their game as Huntelaar only just gets past the centre back to find the side netting. Elsewhere, Arsenal getting dominated by Hull in this game as they are looking incredibly nervous. Moura easily gets passed Marcelo however his follow up shot goes straight over.

27' Newcastle 0-1 Liverpool

A totally deserved goal for Liverpool as their Player of the Season Griezmann makes a blinding run into the box and finds Benteke who fights off the pressure from the Newcastle defenders to smack the ball into the goal.

30' Great play by Chelsea as Neymar plays a few passes with Vidal and then Aguero collects the ball runs it into space, squares it onto a running Sanchez who smashes it onto the crossbar. Elsewhere West Brom almost get back on even terms as lallana places a low ball to Bony whos shot is quickly cleared off the line by Koscielny.

32' Arsenal 0-1 Hull City

Well its deserved but its a huge dent in their title hopes as they now rely on a United screw up unless things change here. Pereyra plays a lovely ball into space for Arda Turan who smashes the ball into the far corner and comes back to haunt his former Birmingham manager.

34' Great play by Southampton as Hernanes plays the ball to a running Shaqiri. He drills a cross in for Huntelaar whos shot is just caught by the keeper. Elsewhere City almost extend their lead when Rakitic makes the run forward and then shoots from far out. The show only just goes over.

35' Everton 0-1 Birmingham

A rather lucky goal as Everton have been dominating this game. Firmino pushes the ball forward to Cavani who makes it seem hes about the show but leaves it open for Navas to smack in.

A well deserved goal as this game has been fairly even so Leicester didnt deserve to be losing. Robin Van Persie again in the spot light as he finds Ander Herrera in space. He collects the ball and hits the ball into the net with his second shot.

Portsmouth really putting a dent in Chelsea's champions league hopes! A shot from Sterling is saved and put out for a corner. Gotze crosses the ball in from the corner flag for Hummels to run onto and smash in.

We will show the table in a minute as we believe there is a goal at St James Park.

44' Newcastle 0-2 Liverpool

A rampant Liverpool side double their lead as Kondogbia plays the ball into space for Coutinho to collect. He looks about 30 yards out but he takes the shot anyway and it flys into the top right corner.

47' Chelsea get the first opportunity of the half when Vidal plays in Aguero who takes on one player and then hits the ball just wide. Meanwhile Liverpool continue to dominate their game as Newcastle can't seem to get a sniff of the ball.

49' Man City 1-2 Leicester

A shocking surprise amazing moment as Leicester take the fecking lead. A brilliant shot from Van Persie was just kept out. The following corner was taken superbly from Draxler as Vermaelen volleys it in

53' West Brom 1-1 Aston Villa and Southampton 1-0 Swansea

Two goals at the same time at different games. First at the hawthorns as Mkhi plays a blinding pass behind the full back for Willian to run onto and push it through the keepers legs and in. At St Mary's Ramires pushes the ball forward for Shaqiri to smash home.

A well deserved goal from a dominant Chelsea. A fantastic run from Aguero allows Morata to collect the ball in space and hit home

62' A great opportunity for Arsenal as they get into the game more. Silva attempts to shoot but then changes his mind as he slips the ball through for Benzema who fires the shot onto the post and then to the keeper. Elsewhere, Newcastles Suarez tries to feed the ball to Higuain but is ultimately stopped by Matic.

A big big goal for Everton as Volland slips through the ball to Kagawa who makes the run forward and smashes the ball into the top of the net.

They are back in it as Mata makes and immediate impact as he lobs the ball forward to a running Suarez who chips the ball over the keeper.

Well that's that then. The Newcastle Was a sign they were not paying attention and we're getting complacent but it woke them up and they responded immediately. Substitute Garcia fires the ball to a fiery Benteke who smacks the ball into the net.

Hazard ran into the box but was brought down by the keeper who got no where near the ball. Clear penalty for United. If they score they go top of the table. Hazard makes the run up and...

It was as if Arsenal knew they had to score. Silva makes the run into space and feeds in Ronaldo who scores his 29th league goal when he taps the ball in. Meanwhile Chelsea take the lead as Neymar fails to run past Lahm and is forced to smack the ball into the box for Aguero to control and smack in.

A goal scored by City but if they want CL football they need one more. Pastore shoots from outside the box but mishits it. Fortunately it lands at Carlos Tevez who knocks it in.

Well Bony made the run into the box, Luiz challenged him and won the ball fair and square but Bony dived and got the penalty. Adriano stepped up and smashed it in, this pretty much confirms relegation for a West Brom who need Birmingham to score 2 goals in 4 mins.

Nope it's the arsenal team and fans. Welbeck wins a free kick just outside the box after a poor tackle from Juanfran. Ronaldo steps up and hits the ball straight into the top right corner. The Arsenal players form a pile in celebration. The fans are singing championeees.

That's fair. Do need to upgrade on Gibbs but that'll be difficult to do. Being biased, I'd say my side is on a level with Chelsea's, though.

I'm not a fan of the diamond formation and felt Liverpool was stronger in midfield. Lstd won more tactics slots as I felt they were perfect for what he needed to do in terms of winning three points. You won more subs slots though as I thought they would make a better impact.
