How great would it be if there was a rule to say that 80% of your squad must be home grown, trained for 3 years before 18th birthday, and it cost £10 for a ticket to see the match, no season tickets, everything general sale, and 1 stand is terraced.
That would get me interested in football again.

Barcelona few years back?

seriously though, who really cares about transfers and rumours anymore, potentially the most boring part of the game, maybe if they limited everyone to 1 signing over £10m a summer that would make things more interesting

Quality of football would decrease though. Would be like league 1 or 2 at best.

Seriously, I don't get why people moan about all the money in the game, the transfers, the kick-off times, the diving, the overpaid kids who have done nothing to deserve the money, and all that stuff thrown at 'modern football'.
If you don't like it, move on. Pretty sure there is a little club near you playing in 7th, 8th tier football that satisfies all your ideologies about how football should be.

it cost £10 for a ticket to see the match - nice but games would be full of advertising to make up the money
no season tickets - youd lose your seat every week so couldnt sit with your mates
everything general sale - same as above.
1 stand is terraced - so all the scuummy fans can go and get drunk and fight

It would be impossible to ever see a game at such a ridiculously low price
