Nearly two and half weeks on from what was billed as the fight of the century, what's everyone's thoughts on what went down
Just to give you a little update on what has gone on since that fight

I don't doubt the validity of the injury. I just don't get how they didn't fill the pre fight injury forms in properly. Its just odd. They've been around the game for years and for the biggest fight of the century, they forget to fill the forms in properly
I also think Nevada Athletic Commission could have handled the situation a bit better considering the magnitude of the event, the fighters involved, the money involved, they could have essentially let what was an administration error to slide and let Manny take the shot that was cleared with USADA.
I also think regardless of which camp you're in, I think it was bad form on Manny and his camp's part to kind of take away the victory from Mayweather by bringing up his injured shoulder after the fight. Should have just said that Floyd was the better fighter on the night and that I'd like to do it again sometime.
Anyone for a rematch? I'll be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing one.
Mayweather Pacquiao

I think manny beats him.

If we were talking about the Manny of 5 or 6 years ago I'd agree with you.

Yeah I'm not sure if Thurman could beat Floyd either but as I said I think it would be a tough night for Floyd.
The key would be to make sure that Thurman couldn't hit him because he'd have major problems if he did. Then again we know that Floyd is the master at making sure he doesn't get hit too often with anything particularly telling.
Stylistically speaking I'd much rather see Thurman fight Pacquiao though, that would an epic all-action match up and I don't think it would go the distance.

The only way Floyd gets beaten is if he goes up to fight wlad.
--------------------------------
GGG would beat up Floyd but as already been said an unfair fight due to the size difference. Even if GGG went down to 154 he'd still be fighting at closer to 170 on fight night.

At this time in Floyds career i can't see Floyd taking that type of risk of fighting GGG and why should he?
GGG should be fighting the likes of Canelo and Cotto then move up weight to take on Ward

Also i seriously do not think GGG can make 154
------------------------------
Maybe not. Golovkin himself has said he could but even if he did come in at 154 for the weigh in he'd be much heavier than that on fight night.
Either way it's nothing more than a fantasy match up that we're never going to see. Golovkin can barely get anyone to fight him at middleweight these days so he's certainly not going to convince a welterweight to fight him.

Actually in the ams MW is 165lbs so if anything GGG is already down in weight from his natural fighting weight!
Floyd fighting and beating GGG at 154lbs would give he following excuses
1. GGG hasn't fought anyone and was over rated
2. He was drained and has never made 154lbs
Why even bother fighting him massive risk low reward legacy wise
