Quite happy with this actually if true. I'd like us to keep our future keeper on our books whilst he gets the opportunity to prove himself over a large period behind a very solid unit (no more Merts purposely putting Woj in the shlts)

After Jose's comments I guess I'm kind of warming up to the idea of Cech joining since Wenger prefers Ospina who's backup standard. He's done a decent job but he costs us at vital moments and seems to be injured after every clash, not that confident in him.

Wenger speaking y'day on how it's important to keep the young group who've grown up together (I'm guessing Theo, Jack, Rambo, Sczez, Gibbs, Ox) and I couldn't agree more this is our core and all are good enough to have some part to play in our future.

Sczesney will come back more mature and steady to challenge Cech over the next few years. Don't forget Chelsea froze Cech out because of the long term assurances Courtois will guarantee, should be a similar scenario with Cech being a top short-term option.
