Wenger's far too stubborn, you just don't let someone that good go to your main rival regardless of any relationship breakdown that may (or may not) have occurred.

So, whilst it's true we rejected him, it won't have been for footballing reasons.

I cant think of a midfilder id prefer over him tbh. Hes that good, shame hes knocking on a bit now though.

Face it Arsenal fans, 8 seasons at Arsenal he won as much as he has at Chelsea in 1 season (Arsenal 2003-2011: FA Cup: 2004–05 and FA Community Shield: 2004 - Chelsea 2014-15: Football League Cup: 2014–15, Premier League: 2014–15).
