Jose Mourinho talking of other clubs alread

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he would not choose to leave the Premier League champions but is prepared to manage another English club.

Mourinho, 52, began his second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge in 2013.
His first stint, from 2004-2007, ended after his relationship with owner Roman Abramovich became strained.

"I see myself coaching another club, yes, but I love Chelsea and I am in Mr Abramovich's hands and until then I am here," Mourinho told Football Focus.

"The day Mr Abramovich thinks I am not good enough for Chelsea, I want to work, and if possible in England too."

Why should he regret not managing Manchester United? Should he regret not managing Bayern Munich? or Juventus? Silly nonsense.

And i don't think he is the non-pareil. He is in the mix with a handful of top managers in this era (Pep/Ancelotti/ Simeone)

"Until Mr Abramovich says, I don't see myself going," added Mourinho. "Any club comes to me now and offers me a fantastic project, offers me twice my wages in the contract at Chelsea, no chance."

I think out of all the rival clubs in the league, Mourinho seems to appreciate United the most. Don't think he stands the likes of City or Arsenal.

Think a large part of him maybe "liking" United was because of Fergie though.

It really doesn't matter

Likely to be next season when they exit the CL again and City get their act together in the league under a top class manager

I don't think he is saying "come and get me", I think he is just saying "don't rule me out entirely."

I believe that he is happy at Chelsea but I also believe he was gutted to be overlooked for the United job.

I could be reading too much into this but I think he has improved his behaviour a bit in recent years, partly as a result of being overlooked for the Utd role. Or maybe he has just mellowed with age...

He's managed big clubs in Portugal, Italy and Spain, understandable he wants to do the same here.
