He looked like he was saying goodbye yesterday. He clearly has some personal reasons he's currently grappling with so if he goes, he goes with all our thanks and gratitude for the wonderful memories and for what he's done for our club this year.
To have such an impact on the team and fans in just one season is testament to what a phenomenal professional, player and person he is.
I hope we see him for one more year, but if we don't, I feel grateful we got to enjoy him for this year.
He's magic.

Yeah I think he will move on but he leaves us with a season of terrific memories.
We have been very fortunate to see such a player wearing the famous blue shirt and playing for our club.
Onwards and upwards though.
What a terrific future our club has

.... and never sign a bald player again. All players must have hair as a sign of respect.
That was why Konch was forced to grow his barnet...

I don't think it's personal issues as such - at least not in the way of them being troubles of any sort. We have to remember the main reasons why he came here last year: Firstly, he wanted to experience the Premier League before he came to the end of his playing career; he's done that now. Secondly, he was probably upset about the way that Inter just dumped him and we were showing a lot of love, telling him over and over that he was very much wanted here. He's not in the same position this year.
I take him at his word that he needs to go away for a few weeks, relax and just have a think about what he wants to do next. If he wants a new playing challenge, I can very easily see him heading to MLS or an emerging football league in Asia. However, if he has one eye on a coaching role, Leicester may serve as a good introduction to that and I'm certain that Pearson would be willing to offer a player/coach role for a year. It's also possible that he'd be happy to just have another year of the same, although I suspect he's too driven as a man to simply accept that. Maybe we can convince him that we're targeting an FA Cup win next season?
All in all, I think he's more likely to go than stay. But it all depends on his priorities and I don't think he's fully made up his mind yet.

I don't mean problems as such Dunge. Just decisions in where his career goes from here.
He clearly has desires to coach at Milan one day and I think he's plotting his best route to that.
Also he has his family to consider and whilst there's no doubting he's loved it here this year, he does have his family to think of.
Finger crossed we can help him start his badges and convince his wife Leicester is the place to be...

Yesterday looked like goodbye unfortunately. We can but hope he'll be back.

Apparently his old club River Plate in Argentina are keen to take him back to finish out his career and also Besiktas in Turkey are sniffing around too.

Like everyone else, I really do hope he stays for another season but I fear he may see his time with us as 'job done' by helping us secure our Prem status and decide he wants another challenge. He's going to take some replacing though if he does go.
Another vital signing has got to be Robert Huth. The difference in the defence since he's been with us has been immense. I don't care how much we have to pay to sign him - just get him on a three year contract!!
