Tevez appealed against his fine to the FA who found in City's favour. That sojourn on the links cost him £9.3m and we still went on to win the League.

Yeah and from what i remember the fine wasnt his total wages for his time off. Though as i said it didnt contradict my original point regardless.

I was talking about players settling at a new club, having a bigger price tag doesn't make it easier to settle at a new club, if anything its harder.

Its intresting that your talking about Uniteds spending, spending that in total is over a quarter of a billion less than yours over the last 10 odd years.

Aguero was our most expensive signing, scored 2 goals on his debut and a hat-trick 3 weeks later.

You do realise Aguero isn't the only footballer in the world?

And that amongst these other footballers there is quite some variety...

In fact I feel very confident in saying that aside from Aguero himself all other footballers are not Aguero (at least not the one that plays for City)

So now we have established that there is a whole other range of footballers out there maybe we can progress the conversation...

Say I could give another example of a player who struggled in his first season at a new club, Nasri, someone who already knew the league and the language... still had a bit of a struggle in his first season but improved markedly after the initial hump...

Of course its impossible that ADM might similarly be having an adjustment period because....

Umm.. because he plays for United I guess, if he played for City he would just be adjusting...

He is to me.

He's got a thing about nasri hasn't he.

I would describe adm 's first season as a spectacular flop of epic proportions, had he played for Liverpool and cost that much you would be all over them with lal adm articles.

As for me I stick by my original point that ADM could well need some time to settle in.... which has been proven many times over by footballers struggling at first.....

But yes even if you can provide an example of a player settling straight away that doesn't mean all the other players who didn't settle straight away don't exist, they very much do.

Its quite simple, he is a player, who much like ADM, took a while to settle. I realise you don't like me bringing it up because its a very good example but I am not going to pretend the example doesn't exist for your benefit.

But don't you worry about any of that, you stick with your fantasies

I think nasri is your phantasy and that's ok.
