What the hell am I suppose to do?
Not a big gamer nowadays since the FF7,metal gear days really other than FIFA and a few others along the way, major releases etc including skyrim, last of us.
Pretty logical, know how RPG's work etc, but what am I suppose to be doing in this game. I've been running around for about 5 hours, some of the rifts I cant close and get busted up pretty bad(i've done most I can) but there doesn't seem to be a main quest with an arrow like it shows on the "legend" of the map. Im not confused, but losing the will to play this game!

I'm about 70 hours into this, it's great when you get going but agree at the start it can be a bit confusing as it doesn't readily guide you.
General advice is to look for any side quests (little diamond shape) in the areas you have access to, or failing that go back to base and talk with all the main players. Sometimes thats all it takes to unlock the next bit.
Stick with it though and you lose yourself in it, so much to do

Yeah can be a bit confusing at the start and some parts are impossible to do until your character is more powerful. Stick with it, it's worth it.

Cheers guys, glad it's not just with me. Everyone keeps saying stick with it though just wish I knew what my next main quest/storyline/cinematic trigger will be.

witcher is brilliant - excellent graphics, the side quests are varied and not your bog standard collect things either. Its absolutely massive aswell. Played around 15 hours so far and barely scratched the surface. Combat takes some getting used to but is really good once you get the hang of it
