Disagree Robb. Gaitan nowhere near as underwhelming as Rojo was or Valencia when we bought him after selling Ronnie for example.
He's a decent player who could excel in the PL. He does provide balance which LVG keeps going on about.
He does flatter to deceive at times, a bit like Lavezzi.
Surprise signing if we do get him however.
Depay, Gaitan, Gundogan could all be hit or miss for various different reasons. It's imperative we get this window right, well for LVG's sake. Next summer, Pep, Ancelotti and maybe Klopp could all be available and a massive decision then for the United owners to make !

Ronaldo I reckon. Then on the final day of the window all the transfer speculation leads to Real panicking and giving him a new contract worth 8 ferraris a week. Well played Jorge Mendes.

To be fair to Gaitan he is,whenever I watch Benfica, one of there standout players and I also think he's playing above the Primeira Liga now interms of his overal qaulity.

Though I do question whether he can make the step up into a major dominant club,not undermining Benfica.
