I had to leave the office for half hour or so, so have barely seen the second half. Doesn't appear I missed much...

Nice goals. Lovely finishes from Kane. Can't see how he can't keep his form going into next season and beyond. He looks a natural.

Can anyone describe his goals in simple terms? left foot / right foot / header? Inside / outside box?

1st
Rose through ball down the line onto Eriksen. Eriksen scoop turns past a defender, pulls it back for Carroll who shoots, hits defender on the line. Off the post onto Kane inside 6 yard box who scores right foot.

2nd
Passing outside the box. Carroll passes to Townsend who slips Kane through, right hand side of the goal. Takes a touch forward and finish across the keeper.

2nd goal is actually a lovely little flick by Carroll, return ball from Townsend and a decent through ball to Kane to finish.

Nice stuff from Carroll...still looks like a little boy though.

I don't see the point of post season friendlies. I would have thought a few weeks off would have been more beneficial and then get into pre season.

Poch does not want to do the pre season tours to keep squad at home in summer. So as a compromise a post season tour was set up.

Actually quite pleasantly surprised at the young English lads in the game. Also, Yedlin has an end pass and is a veritable rocket....
