First signing: Jack Collinson, on a one year deal. Started off in the Posh Academy, and subsequently played for West Ham and Wales. Injured last season whilst at Ipswich, but raring to go. A promising first signing with two Premier League loanees expected to arrive in July.

"Cliftonville have accepted an offer from Peterborough United for their record-breaking striker Joe Gormley. The Belfast club's leading goalscorer has been given permission to negotiate terms with the English League One club who are managed by Dave Robertson. Last season Gormley scored 40 goals, including five hat-tricks, as he broke his own club record for the number of goals scored in one season." (BBC)
Intriguing. No doubt a Stuart McCann recommendation. Let's hope he signs and fulfils his potential.

Can't fault the lads goal record.
Let's hope he can transfer that to the English game.

Gormley has signed up. We were lacking a goalscorer last season - let's hope he repeats his goal-scoring feats this coming season.

Pompey are set to sign Christian Burgess from Posh. A player who, I think, was just a bit too laid back.

No further activity to report on our ins and outs. Our Real Madrid triallist returned home, having succumbed to a groin injury. As for the coming season's opponents, it looks like we'll be playing Liverpool instead of Swindon.

Luke James on a season-long loan to Bradford City. Good idea. If he toughens up and scores goals at Bradford he could come back as our next Lee Tomlin.

Wow 4 new signings in one day!
Suddenly our squad looks massive. Good pre-season so far.
Reasons to be optimistic, got to fancy us for at least a top 6 place.

Some interesting young signings. Could Angol be the next Dwight Gayle?
With striking partners Gormley and Washington continuing to score, we might just crack it this coming season.
Exciting times, Righteous.

Kane Ferdinand has left by mutual consent. No great loss, but I wish him well and future success.

A little bit sad to see Joe Newell sign for Rotherham. He did frustrate in that he delivered less than was his promise, but if he'd stayed our promotion quest might have been made a bit easier. It'll be interesting to see how he does under Steve Evans (still a future Posh manager?).
