Amir Khan and Chris Algieri meet in the ring in a couple hours time.
Khan looking to put on a good show still hoping Mayweather won't duck him again in September and Algieri looking to bounce back after a devastating defeat to Manny Pacquiao where he got put down 6 times.
Khan going in against a taller guy and may not have the advantages he is used to.
Will Algieri be let out of his cage for this one?

Goes to show how much further ahead of the field Floyd is. Manny never lost a round and had 6 knockdowns against algeri Khan losing up to 5 rounds against him shows the distance between manny and the rest aswell! Algeri is Taylor made for Khan aswell hope Khan vs brook/thurman is next with the winner fighting manny next year

Against Manny Algeri was out of his comfort zone fighting in China. With Khan he was in his own backyard. Makes a huge difference.

Khan 115-113
Didn't look impressive at all
Amir gets tagged too easily especially by the right hand and he thinks he can beat Mayweather
Mayweather will stop Khan in the later rounds
Before this fight i thought Khan had the tools to beat Brook but now i am not too sure

Algieri looked up for it all week and performed very well
If Algieri had power it could have been a different story
Khan has to up his game if he fights Thurman or Brook

It was a good fight, Algieri did a lot better than expected.
Khan was still too easy to hit and his legs stiffened a couple of times after being hit with solid right hands.
He might have been taking the American a little to lightly but if Algieri was a more powerful puncher he would have been in big trouble.
