Can this squad stay injury free!

Even if it's for 4-5 months in the season, this for me is the most crucial element next season if we are to be a success.

A lot of the pundits seem to have forgotten but at one stage we missed 8 to 9 first team players with some out for 3 to 4 months.

When everyone is fit, it's a pretty damn strong squad. We can actually call out players like Ox, Wilshere and Welbeck of the bench as well as the likes of gibbs and arteta.

I have never been so excited about an arsenal team for a long time and I think this team is possibly even better than the one that featured hleb, Cesc and Rosicky at their peak.

Reduce the ridicoulus injuries we get and we will be in with a shout. Ignore the garbage Merson Spouts outs, we need 2 top players, 3 at a push and need to ensure we keep the current core.

Wilshere, Walcott and The Ox will never have injury free seasons imo.

There's certainly been an improvement in the 2nd half of the season. Too early to say if we just got lucky or if there's actually been a change

Arsenal statistically points wise and getting knocked to lower ranked side did worse this season then last season.

You are so facking fickle OP. Honestly you've gone from suicidely depressed in Jan to this, a couple of sloppy defeats early season and you'll change your tune.

Yes injuries are a major issue, no we won't have an injury free season. With a bit of work accepting and then addressing the fact there are problems with either our fitness staff, facilities, training methods etc we'll have a better injury record next season but don't bank on it.

Four players would make this squad a top squad, I'm not saying we'll necessarily need all four because current players could step up big time but it's still: GK, CB, DM, ST. I mention DM because we only have one and he deserves to be first choice, however if he gets injured we're facked.

To be fair you could say the same about United I don't think there has been any significant improvement from them. If you look at the table and compare to last season Liverpool's dreadful form has covered up United's ineptitude. You have to ask questions a when again despite what you say United's best player is the goalkeeper.

If so Castor and with 1-2 additions we can have a very good season and compete on all fronts.

Man Utd 3-0 Liverpool
Liverpool 1-2 Man utd

Thats a 12 point swing from last season alone. We barely beat any side in the top 7 last season vs this season vs 5 wins this season compared to just 1 win against top 7 sides last season coming against Arsenal and if RVP took one of his 2/3 sitters at the Emirates under Moyes we may have done league double over Arsenal . Obviously 6 teams we could face in top 7.

You say dreadful when this has been a successful season for Liverpool. Look at 5 of last 6 seasons Liverpool points tally and you will see one anomaly.
