Cheryshev

Has anyone seen this guy play?if he was a realistic target ,would he be another markovic taking time to settle in and hardly playing?

Never seen him play and I think it's the case with most foreign players now that they all need time to settle/adjust to England.

Never heard of him. But his name alone makes me think he would suit a pony tail.

I know what sort of player he is. He is a very fast player with good technique, flair and dribbling.

Downside is hie positioning, strength and heading are very poor.

He wont make the grade and will end up somewhere like QPR.

I don't agree with the idea that there is a difference between buying a Premier League experienced player and a foreign player. We've seen players like Coutinho and Torres settle like that to the League, while someone like Carroll or Lovren are different stories despite their experience of the league

That's Markovic for me.

Term.

He was first linked with us for about 6 weeks ago. Nothing to do with Rafa.
He's a huge downgrade on Sterling, but that's par for the course since we became a selling club.

RAP.

Half guessing, half applying logic. Rafa has publicly stated how much he rates Sterling. And Madrid are clearly looking to move Cheryshev on. Therefore, it stands to reason that Sterling is seen as the better player.
You could also compare their proposed transfer fees. Sterling is approx. £40m, Cheryshev approx. £11m.
