Canadian GP Race Thread

Morning lads and lassies, after the travesty in Monaco brought about by monumental incompetence by Mercedes and truth be told a little too much trust in the pit wall from Hamilton, the formula 1 circus rolls into Montreal, Canada.

We all love this track, pure unadulterated speed, weather, wall of champions, safety cars and a track that is an engine breaker. Last year the mercs lost the race due to reliability so could we see something similar this weekend? Also expect the Williams to be a force here as a result of their straight line speed. The Ferraris also will as usual create problems for Mercedes should they not be on top of their game.

So, without further ado, let us begin;

Circuit: Gilles Villeneuve

Lap Record: 1:13.622 Rubens Barichello (2002)

Number of Laps: 70

Practice 1 Fri: 15:00 – 16:30
Practice 2 Fri: 19:00 – 20:30
Practice 3 Sat: 15:00 – 16:00
Qualifying Sat: 18:00 – 19:00
Race Sun: 19:00

Hamilton really enjoys this track and even though he did not get pole last season, he overtook Nico using the undercut and would have stormed to victory without the brake failure which was partly his fault. Nico managed to nurse the car home as well.

Please remember to play our prediction game at zdkf1.com and get your predictions in tonight. RAP has cost us lots of points this season and if this behaviour continues, we will send Crashtor to pay him a visit.
