No transfer fee but usually on higher wages. Really hope he proves me wrong and does very well for us.

Gibson was castigated by rival fans,but he was our linchpin a few season back,when he was out our good form went with him. I won't be happy if Cleverley is one of our main signings but if he's been signed to bulk up the squad,I can live with that.

Good deal on a free. Think he'll fit in well alongside McCarthy, whom Everton need to tie down on an improved deal.
Even if it doesn't work out for Cleverly we should still be able to sell him on for a good fee.
