Parker, Dann, Cahill, Samba. These four were and are still available. Parker and a choice from 3 defenders. Could have been very useful today. Apparently the right quality was not available. AW is full of excuses and is deluded as are some of the fans about how good this team really is. Parker and one of these defenders would be an improvement yet some think they are not good enough.
He could snap up Parker and Dann by tomorrow evening if he wanted to. I am sure Parker would prefer us over Tottenham. Then he can focus on bringing big signings like Hazard, Baines etc before the transfer window closes.

Parker looks good as the big fish in a small pond, he was p15 poor when he was at a top club. For goodness sake Sidwell looked good at Reading, look how his move to a bigger club turned out
As for Dann-10-15 million for a dfender from a relegated outfit
Bolton conceded 56 goals last season, Cahill was hardly brilliant

samba and cahill are gettable for the right money.
if wenger had started the summer with a bid of £10M-£12M for cahill, i reckon he'd have him by now. same goes for samba.
he should have bought given £3.5M or friedel (free).

Dann 8-10mil easily mate. right now with this squad we need leadership and experience. Parker is available for 5-6mil and is a far superior player to Sidwell.
