A strange old transfer window this one isn't it.
I think we all know we're not going to make any 'massive' signings. However, for once I'm not really that bothered!! Some solid, reliable chaps who aren't made out of balsa wood will do fine thank you.
It's the players we've already got at the club who could make the biggest difference in my opinion.
Most importantly Cohen & reidy....
Does anyone know how they're getting on? Are they going to be fit in time for the new season?
Is assa coming on ok?
Then there's the return of mackie! He's got to be worth a place in the squad hasn't he?!
Abdoun? Hmmmmm....... I quite liked him when he first came. But he appears to have turned mental. But then again he was working with the Scottish poison dwarf for a while - so, I think I'll give him the benefit of the doubt!! If he's busting his balls when they come back for pre-season, chucking up with the rest of them - I say give him a go.
I'm really excited to see how the young lads progress this season Osborn is quality. I can really see him kicking on this season.
Last season was too soon for Walker jnr apparently - but will he get into the starting XI this season?

Reid and Cohen returning should be looked on by Freedman as a bonus, as well as Assombalonga and Fryatt. He definitely should build his team on the assumption that they won't feature much if at all next season.

Well, he hasn't joined the club officially yet. Plus you should look up some of our players injury records, he's almost healthy by comparison.

How about 3 at the back (Hobbs, Mills, Mancienne)? Lichaj and Fox as wing backs (Lichaj has the stamina, Fox can't defend anyway), midfield 3 of Burke, Lansbury and Osborn, with Antonio and Dex up front?
Should be fun to watch at any rate

Imagine then if you could add Cohen, Reid and Britt to the mix! I wonder if we will ever get to see them grace the same pitch at the same time (and fully fit!)

Not sure about Fox as a wing back because he's so slow. I think Osborn could probably do a job there but he should ideally play in CM.

According to those on twitter, Cohen amd Fryatt will be ready in September, which is extremely good news! There is however, no word of if or when Reid will be fit again, but I do hope he plays a part in the team before Christmas.
