well guys, it's the day before arguably the biggest and most important game of the group.

A Ireland win would firmly put them right in the mix and deal Scotland a severe blow to their hopes of finishing 2nd.

A Scotland win would pretty much guarantee us the 3rd place play off in my eyes but it would also give Poland and Germany some serious food for thought, we would be equal or on more points than Germany after 6 games and at the very most be 1 point behind Poland.

A draw would suit Scotland more than Ireland but I feel we need the victory to have any chance of finishing second, 4 points behind Poland with just 4 games to play might just be too much for us to claw back so I hope we do play for the win.

Team news, Ireland will be without Harry Arter through injury while Robbie Keane suffered a family bereavement but is expected to start on Saturday.

For Scotland, no injury concerns have been revealed so far for Scotland, Charlie Mulgrew looks a certainty to start after playing 90 minutes against Qatar last Friday.
