Anders Lindegaard !!
There was a period when De Gea first arrived where he was pushing for the No1 slot. He seems to have been completely forgotten but i always thought he looked pretty decent.
Would going into the season with a choice between Valdes and Lindegaard be so bad?? Lets face it Dave has gone, but am i alone in thinking we wouldn't need another keeper??

Lindegaard is decent back up but I always felt he wa svery slow to get down for shots. We conceded a disproportionate number of shots from distance when he played in goal. the 5-5 draw against West Brom comes to mind, but there were other occasions he was beaten from range where you'd expect a top keeper to make the save.

Anders was always under great pressure to impress, and IMO, never got a run of matches to relax and get himself sorted out. He'll do well at a Championship club, or equivalent European club. Time to move on and play football,thanks very much.
