I don't think any proper fan of football could take pleasure out of seeing kids destroyed and hing out to dry like that yesterday.

Had it been Arsenal's team then yes it would have been funny but the fact you are laughing at 18/19 year olds to me isn't just cruel, but it's actually quite sad.

Not even Fergie took pleasure out of seeing those youngsters torn to pieces like that. The fact you are celebrating a United win like your own just goes to show how low your miserable club has sunk.

The answer is neither, it was a tongue in cheek article merely showing the contrast in strength of the two areas.

I found Spurs' defeat highly amusing as it was their first team but I took no pleasure out of seeing Arsenal;s youngsters dismantled like that. Nowhere have I mocked Arsenal in that thread.

The article you posted is as much about Arsenal as it is about Spurs. Considering you and I quote "laughed your arsenal off" I fail to see how you can now state you felt sorry for them.

Personally I quite admire the work of Wenger over the years. He's done a good job. However, seeing the Arsenal wums which have poluted this board since it opened being silenced makes me "LMAO", even though I wanted Arsenal to win.

LMAO and LOL don't carry the same meaning as they used to, lets be honest in modern day terminology it could mean anything from Laugh at Loud etc to an ending over a conversation.

As I said, I took no pleasure in seeing Arsenal dismantled like that and Fantasy Football points aside I would have been happy for United to just pass it around at 6-1 when the game had effectively been put beyond Arsenal IMO.

One thing Arsenal can take heart out of is that at least Liverpool fans care if they win or lose. The day they don't and start to pity them (as Chelsea, United and City all do now) will be the day they have to worry, towards the end of Rafa's tenure at Liverpool and Hodgson and even now to a lesser extent I remember literally not caring if Liverpool won or lost when prior to that I would have been delighted if Liverpool drop points.

Call it arrogance or whatever but in terms of silverware I only consider the two Manchester clubs as rivals, of course I'll crack a smile should Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs or West Ham lose but that's as far as it goes for me, but yesterday was beyond laughable.

I was the first person to laugh when Arsenal lost 6-1 at OT because it was a freak result against star studded Arsenal side, who were simply overwhelmed in the first half by a United side that came out the blocks like a house on fire, this for me is a time to mourn the death of a great footballing philosophy not celebrate

Listen to Bubbles and Mr Chelsea taking the moral high ground. Just to re-iterate what we're laughing at. We're laughing at the fact that Batman and his little pals were telling us that Arsenal are better than us.

You've got to love the hypocrisy of our resident WUM's on here. We draw at Sunderland and this board is infested by the likes of Batman (and yourselves Mr Chelsea and Bubbles) telling us how we're mediocre and a mid table side.

We return a bit of banter back after beating Arsenal and watching them get battered by United, and we're in the wrong.

I'd suggest that you WUM's don't dish it out if you can't handle getting it back, or at the very least let us know which results we're allowed to mock and which we're not. .
