If Povetkin is his next, Wilder has to make some dramatic improvements in his inside game, because he has none. Molina rarely exploited Wilder's flaw, but his few attempts did pay off. Credit to Molina for making it a good fight after taking his licks. He looked like he already lost at the beginning of the fight, but he fought methodically and seemingly to the best of his ability, given the situation.
Wilder did the right thing in keeping Molina at range, but Povetkin is going to barrel in and bully Wilder. Without an ability to dirty-box, Wilder will have to rely on his movement, and that aspect of his game wasn't showcased much, apart from his being pinned on the ropes by Molina for a short flurry.

I want to see Joshua fight Wilder in a title shot eliminator
---------------------------
If Joshua fought Wilder, it wouldn't be an eliminator...it'd be a World Title fight...because Wilder is the World Champion.

I am a little surprised that Wlad hasn't gone for the unification bout with Wilder. I think he probably beats him but maybe he is looking at that as potentially his last fight.

If Povetkin is mandatory, the wouldn't Klitschko have to negotiate a deal with Povetkin in order to fight Wilder?
I would like to see Povetkin/Wilder and Fury/Klitschko, then see the winners/losers fight, then the winners fight

You need to be wary of believing hype.. As Price found out twice, but I do think Joshua warrants it. It's not as though he's completely new or raw to the game.. He's an Olympic champion and rated no.2 in the world by tje WBC (which probably shows the lack of depth in tje division and their willingness for him and Wilder to fight).
Joshua will be a future world champ but I don't think Hearn will be in any rush to make it happen as he's too much of a meal ticket just now. Saying that, you don't want him stagnating or the fans being turned off by yet more 5min KO's.
Must be a nightmare matchmaking for AJ. A good nightmare with potential to earn millions, but a tough one all the same. Maybe choose a couple of former Wilder opponents, that'd crank the hype up some more. Then an all British fight v Price or Fury?

Wilder has looked better in other fights than what he did against Molina
I think he was tentative due to now holding a world title and having his first defence
