Wasim Akram car shot at today in Khirachi. Another nail in the coffin for cricket coming back to pakistan

A car had hit his car, Wasim came out of his car and asked the young guy " dont you know how to drive?"

Arguments started and the guy did 3 aerial fires and ran away.... Sounds as if some politicians car was being driven as if he owned the road, hit Akram's car, bodyguard got out to defend his employer, fired a few shots in the air to scare anyone away, recognised Akram, realised it was his car that had been hit, panicked and ran away.

Whole incident nothing to do with Akram being a cricketer, but a simple case of some bigwig hogging the road and causing an accident - resulting in road-rage - albeit involving a bodyguard carrying a gun.

Pathetic media turning it into something else, gave a very wrong impression of a road rage.
International media was quick to label it as an attack on Wasim. Nonsense!

this has been blown out of proportion good and proper.

Hope Pak are taking notes on England bowlers & conditions.

Its scary to think that England can bowl Australia out for 60 - imagine what they can do to Pak.

Pak need to go on a training camp & be readily prepared for England becos England are in hot form right now.

Saw the wickets on cricinfo, Ashwin bowled well but terrific catching around the bat.

From 255-3 to 375 all out really shoudl be building on that platform and topping 450.

Mind you, Sri Lanka are currently 5-2
