Fallout 4 ......... ... discuss.
Gutted that Bethseda have mantained their wee love nest with Microsoft with mods being available, no doubt that will also apply to DLC. Playstation got royally screwed over Skyrim DLC.
Has GOTY written all over it has Fallout i can almost gurantee it produced a nasty taste in many other developer mouths.....Board room meeting first thing this morning .... must to better !! I was excited about Mad Max untill i seen this the crafting side of things really suprised me didnt think fallout oulda been able to manage that and not only do they manage it but bases/houses will also be raided.
Ill let you guys discuss cos i will use up my 5000 character talking about the opening sequence !! (See this is how enthusiastic i should be about Battlefront !!)

I've got Fallout 1 & 2 on my PC... never played them. I should probably get around to it one of these days.

yeah good fun obv very different to what they are now but will be good to tie in all the lore to the latter games. Incidently i havent played them either and i might actually look into this in build up for 4's release later this year. Alos PipBoy collectors edition looks ace ... i wont buy it but i would if money wasnt so tight ..... I usually hate editions like this but even i admitted this was pretty damn cool !

lol this game has me frothin like a proper wee fan boy !! I am usually damn cold and impartial when it comes to game. And call it like i see it but i cant help it with fallout Bethseda are awesome if they only didnt climb in bed with apple and Microsoft so damn easily !!

Maybe the deal with Microsoft is part of what keeps their games so modifiable? It's good to see a company retain such an open platform for mods in the age of DLC.
Got Fallout free from GoG, as their licence with Fallout expired so they were giving out all their remaining keys for free. That was a while ago now though.

Na cant see that having anything to do with even if Bethseda didnt want anyone ding mods for their games the modders would still find a way. The deal is simpe with Microsoft ... Microsoft: "heres loadsa money" , Bethseda "nice, Sony can wait 4/5 months for their DLC, och since this is now the third time this is happened we will throw in some mod acceptance for you guys". I know Bethseda had a major fallout (haha no pun intended!) with Sony on Skyrim due to the restrictions they had. Hopefully after time they allow mods to come over to Sony, the best news for this tho is that it breaks down the barrier for other games from now on .. consoles from this point on will be mod freindly now ... this was defo the starting point for it all !
