It appears Chelsea football club have been aware for some time that Cech prefers a move to Arsenal. What we don't know is if Wenger wants him. The smart money is he probably does otherwise, Cech, his agent, goalkeeping coach wouldn't be saying so much about this potential move.
But is Cech worth the potential posturing over Ox especially as we know this potential transfer will probably drag throughout the summer? A lot of people seem to think Cech will save us a lot of points but is he worth the trouble we will go through to get his signature?
Wenger won't sanction the sale of the Ox, Theo or any other player. The fact that Cech wants to come to Arsenal does give us the upper hand but if Wenger gets fed up with the demands Chelsea make then this deal will be dead in the water.
The time wasting on Chelsea's part could also disrupt preparations on our part as a potential move for Szczesny depends on it.
I'm kinda indifferent about this move. If it happens I'm happy as it means we add experience to our backline. Cech is also a top goalkeeper and we will have an able deputy in Ospina while Szczesny gains the necessary experience on loan to eventually succeed Cech.
If it doesn't happen Ospina is still a good goalkeeper and we will still have the best reserve keeper in Szczesny.

Aren't you concerned that the ONLY reason Cech would like to join you is so that he doesn't have to change house.
Not football but staying in London is his only motivation.

Hes not desperate to stay in London but it is his preferred place to stay and seeing as arsenal are a top club who have similar ambitions I think he does actually want to play for arsenal as well as stay in London
