New Striker

Well looks like we have a half decent Striker Andy Williams. There is also a bonus to this signing, if he does not score at least he can give us a song or two.

Amongst them !!!! I'm overcome with excitement.

Well there's one thing if he fails to score after the season he's just had then the book stops with Dickov!

That aside a top signing and a statement of intent of what we as fans can hope to expect

I must admit the YouTube video is impressive, and maybe he is the League One forward we need. I don't want to appear cynical, but after that season why would a team let him go?
I really hope he is part of the answer needed to get us back to the Championship.
I see Enda Stevens has gone to League Two - there must be money in Portsmouth!

Swindon fan in peace.

He's a good signing for you, he had better than a 1 in 3 strike rate which is respectable for a striker and will always work hard for the team. He's a nice guy and a good dressing room influence. We didn't want him to leave but he was on a high wage Di Canio contract and we couldn't afford to offer him enough to retain him. He did well for us and we wish him well. Good luck for the coming season, I'm glad he chose you over the opposition, particularly the Blunts.

He doesn't sing though

Don; Thanks; we always worry that there's a catch with our signings, but your report is very encouraging. It was all a bit disappointing for you in the end last season. We, too, have seen some of our best players departing, but to lose such a goalscorer must be difficult to take.

As for the Blunts, I fear that they have now got a manager that can capitalise on their resources, but there will still be room for two more to succeed. Good luck in 2015/16.

Agree. Sheff Utd got a very good manager now.

I don,t think think Kane would score many for us with the set up from last season. We MUST have more productive chance creators or he will go the same way as all our other so called crack marksman.

Tyson only just scraped over the ten mark, Robinson nuff said and Main did nothing to enhance his reputation.

Looking at the videos if you give this kid the chance he will score, but you have to do that first.

Good luck to him we need a 20/25 scorer for promotion.

Just seen his interview on player. Seems like a nice kid who will fit in well, perhaps we did well not to get loudmouth Pope.

He seems to want to learn and I am looking forward to see how he does.

His finishing is more about placement than power. He can score with either foot and is decent in the air. His stats of 1 in 3 are better than at first sight as Mark Cooper permutated two from Michael Smith, Jon Obika and Andy Williams so a number of his appearances were from the bench. Assuming he starts and stays free of injury he should get 15-20 goals for you. He's a confidence player, like most strikers, and if he gets off to a good start he could well get 20+

He's unassuming, modest and a team player. I wish we could have held on to him.
