When wenger was asked about signings he replied
" i believe what is important is that we get the players who were injured and suspended back"
he also said
Wenger: “The players who were out today was too many. We didn’t expect to have all these players out. It is too many"
now people tell me wait till the end of the window to judge wenger but surely these words cant fill anyone with any confidence.

He is delusional. He has actually lost it.

It's not about the quantity, Arsene, it's about the quality. And unfortunately, when you have to turn to a bunch of teenagers, a couple making their Premier League debuts, and expect them to get you a result, it doesn't bode well.

I think it a bit unfair for Wenger to take all the blame it goes a bit higher than him,the board are to blame they have collected about £100 million from players sold in recent times and spent peanuts.

Then why hasn't Wenger kicked up a fuss?
I believe last season one of your chairmen said Wenger had a "war chest" to spend but he didn't spend on anyone of note?

He's quoted on arsenal.com as saying "We are close to signing a striker at the moment but we are still looking for a midfielder and a defender." And also said "we have 20 people working on finding new players"

Twenty people can't find a defender and a midfielder to improve the current squad? The bar is not exactly set very high, is it?

the new striker is the south korean captain Park Chu Young

The board always said if Wenger wants to spend, the money is there. If Wenger repeatedly says it is difficult to find players better than those he already has, then he overrates his players completely or he should sack the 20 people working for him.
The bitter truth seems to be that Wenger never had a plan for this transfer window, even though it was clear that we lose Cesc and Nasri. Our search for a new striker is a good example. We got Chamakh and now Gervinho. Very surprisingly, out of nothing, both go to the AKON in January. To cover for this we need another striker. Well planned! To make it more ridiculous, we signed another striker last month (Campbell). Apparently he does not get a work permit. What a farce!
