We were told that the shoulder operation on the shoulder injury that Pacquiao sustained in the Mayweather fight would take up to a year to recover from.
Based on that will we ever see Pacquiao fight again ? He's already achieved just about everything he possibly could including Fighter of the Decade and World Champion in 8 weight classes etc.
Spring/Summer of 2016 is still a long way off and Manny will be 37 by then. There seems to be no chance of a rematch with Floyd as things stand so what real incentive would Manny have to come back and fight in a year's time ?
Am I the only one who thinks that we'll never see Manny fight again ?
Will Pacquiao ever fight again ?

I smell sabotage.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission is so corrupt they probably make FIFA look like a bunch of choir boys by comparison so anything is possible.

Of course Manny beats Khan. Manny is being severely underrated here.

Mr C I agree. I just think that Khan is going to get found out quickly at 147 against the big boys and it's just a matter of time before people stop talking about him as this supposedly big draw.
Seeing Manny take Khan apart would be most enjoyable. I hope we get that fight.

Funny how Mayweather is toying with Khan. Khan is begging for the fight that not many want to see. Who should Maywether fight next????

lol even josesito lopez is laughing at khan
If Khan-man had found a pair and fought Brook, I believe he would be in a position to fight any of the upper-tier WW's including Floyd. But to avoid the Brook fight publicly, TWICE, and fighting Algeri make him look weak and unwilling to face a challenge other than the Elite.
Khan-man wants some r'etarded recognition and to be in a position to say that he fought Floyd -- Which somehow validates his distorted claims to being a top fighter.
But, its clear to see to anyone with at least one eye open, that Khan-man is targeting the low-hanging fruit and playing it safe by avoiding the top players in the division. That is the reality of the situation, otherwise he would have tried to stuff Thurman's words down his throat, or whipped Brook's azz by now.
But this is what boxing con-men do, so why is the Khan-man himself surprised that the jig is up on his game.

As things stand I agree Mr C.
It just depends on if/when Manny comes back. A year is a long time and he'll be 37 in December. Also will the shoulder still be an issue ? Quite a few variables there.
There are some huge fights for Manny still if he wants them so let's hope he does.

I'd like to see Manny again even if it is just for one last hurrah
He has given us some great fights to watch in the past

Manny has lost a $hitload of casual fans after the performance against Floyd and the excuses put on by his team. As with Roach both have been pretty quiet since then. All the nonesense after the fight will prob have jeapordised the chances in any rematch i feel

A lot of those casual fans still think Manny won the fight and are buying the injury excuse

I don't think that Manny will be too concerned about that at this stage in his career. People will still pay to watch him fight again and he won't be short of offers to fight if/when he does return.
