Not saying you're wrong as such but if you think that those running the official social media pages aren't briefed by the club at a higher level on what and what not to say, I think that's a bit naive. They won't be run independently on uninformed monkeys on 25k a year.

I do agree with you on this though but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some motive behind it from the club. Social media is massive now, playing to the millions and millions on social media to generate interest is a very simple and effective form of generating interest etc.
