Okazaki poised to sign?

What's happened to nugent?

Nugent will be on the fringes of the squad if Okazaki signs. Don't know alot about him but the videos I've seen of him he looks a tidy finisher.

I think the role of Nugent within the team will certainly change. I don't think he can any longer be considered as our lead forward and perhaps is more adept in playing the withdrawn forward role.

However, I think it would be too early to write Nugent off as a squad player. Kramaric still needs to step up, we've no idea whether Okazaki will take to the English league any quicker than Krammy and Vardy and Ulloa both spent significant portions of last season not looking great.

If signed, however, we would have an interesting and varied 5 strikers who might well cover for any vagaries in form.
