Do players watch the Women's World Cup?

I hope so. There is some excellent play and the set pieces are cracking. Truth be said, a few Premiership players could learn something!

I think the standard is poor tbh.

Tackling, passing and power is on a par with u14's boys football and if the strikers could hit it hard enough and pick out the corners in the slightest, the keepers would get no where near the ball.

England's winning goal against Norway was hailed as a wonder goal and whilst being a decent enough strike. If that's a Saturday afternoon your very disappointed with the keeper.

I'll be watching and hoping the girls win because I'm English and like to see our teams do well but let's not pretend that the quality of football on show is anything but below par.

And just out of interest, what exactly what could premiership footballers learn?

Kls....i think ur very harsh tbh. The french right winger was very skillfull and so were some of her teamates.

Bronzes goal was a great strike from 25 yards and good link up play. Yes theyhavent the pwr but they are good

They aren't very sporting. I've yet to see any of them exchanging shirts after the games

I'd rather watch mens non league football
At least they know how to tackle
The women players look decent on the ball due to the amount of time they are allowed on the ball

So one winger playing for one of the best teams and that's it!!!!!

Bronze's goal was a good strike but it wasn't right in the corner and the keeper should be getting it.

I'm yet to be told what premier league players could learn?

Kolo, I don't know which games you're watching but I'm seeing some talent. When Premiership players take free kicks, they put some spin on, float the ball in, but the women are blasting them in and it just takes a tap in. You can't say they're no good, some of them are better than some professional blokes. Open your mind and eyes and can appreciate how good they are, and they're only going to get better.
