Scott Allan

Decent Player, and to be fair, sticking out in the championship. I don't think he's the only target. I would hope Mark has contacts and players in mind in the lower English leagues and Europe who are as good and potentially the the way forward.

For this season my expectation is automatic promotion.

Ideally with an improved attacking style of play and with a squad with plenty of younger players featuring regularly.

If possible decent cup runs would be good too. But that would be a bonus.

I would agree with that Miller but I wouldn't use the excuses that football is unpredictable or that the gap is getting wider if it fails

So as you continually ask about what we expect this season

When?

So what is your excuse for last season then?

There are no excuses, we weren't good enough, poor management and poor signings

The bit about humour and passing time, ditto

Not sure if it's so much excuses or simply stating facts. Rangers last season failed because the management was below average for most of the season, the squad talent wasn't good enough, motivation was severely lacking with many players on contracts well above what they could get elsewhere, off field issues were a constant distraction and other teams in the league were playing better football and were better team than Rangers were.

All in all Rangers failed last season because they weren't good enough.

But things do look much more promising this pre season. The manager gives the impression of being good at what he does and is targeting hungry players rather than players who are on the downside of their careers and looking to cash as much from the last big paying contracts they get.

This. Quite a bit more succinct than what I posted
