first of all let me say i am neither in the Arsene We Trust or Arsene we Rust camp.
What is clear from today is something needs to change, personally i still think Arsene is the best man for the job.....just. No doubt because of this i will be called a plastic etc,
weather we need a change or board, manager, tactics or approach to transfers is up for debate but something needs to change.
i know we were missing a number of first team player but united were also missing there central defence. Jenkinson and Traore inparticaular showed they do not have what it takes to make it at Arsenal (in jenkinsons case there is still time for improvement).
Today showed our squad is not strong enough to compete, i still think 1-11 we still have one of the strongest teams in the prem, however scratch the surface and we are desperately short or quality. We need a minimum of 4 qulaity players(and i dont include Young in that) if we need to pay over the odds for these players then so be it.
Wenger has 3 days to change the course of our season otherwise i cant see us challenging for the top 4, we may even to struggle to compete for a european place, all out major rivals (bar Spurs) have improved their squad and if we dont move on we are in for a long difficult season.
Rant over, the In Arsene we trust camp can start the abuse now!!
Something has to change

Its worrying how the board & wenger have let the club get into this state...

I'm pretty much the same with all of this.
Blaming the teens is difficult, because it's difficult throwing them into a match away at the league champions and telling them to get a result. We are too reliant on them.
For United, Cleverly and Welbeck are to compliment the likes of Nani, Rooney and Young, whereas for us, we are relying too heavily on Coquelin (who did very well), Jenks, and then sending on AOC for Coquelin to change the game.
I reckon we need six altogether, but three is what Wenger says. Fine.

wenger is digging his own grave,we can't compete with the big teams if we don't offer competitive wage,we have no tactics, no experience, defence is horrible, training regime is horrible, pat rice doesn't offer anything new, wenger is an arrogant s . O . B , he thinks that no matter who our oppenents are we just need to stick to our way, i fear eventually he'l have to go

We need more ambitious owners/board. They are perfectly happy seeing us win nothing and finish 4th. As long as the money is rolling in. We need someone to take the initiative and give Wenger plenty off money, and back him when he targets the players he wants. It's obvious he wants cahill, the board should go all out to sign him. But they rather save money by playing youth or buying a cheap option. I think people have it wrong with Wenger on transfer. I can garantee he would rather bring in and work with quality players. I just don't think the board allow him.
People seem to have the attitude that Wenger is in charge with all aspects of the club.

I was gonna write something identicly similar to this
Something needs to change but no one knows what it is. Whether it's a full takeover, David Dein coming back, a marquee signing or a new manager.
Or even dropping out the top 4.
The way things are going our best players like Van Persie will want to leave. Thats the harsh reality.

if the board are restricting him then he must come out an say they stopping him an quit atleast he'l still have our respect, the way things are going more an more fans are starting to resent the mere sight of wenger

Could anybody blame any Arsenal player with 1 or 2 years left on their contract if they didnt want to resign at the moment?
I know i wouldnt.
