Nice to see our injuries have returned at the right time, ready to ramp up over the next three months and set the tone for the season.
It wouldn't be a proper league campaign without the traditional injury crisis.

In all seriousness, the injury is a real shame if there are any plans to keep Chicha at OT this season. Do you guys think we should keep hold of him?
At the moment I think it'd be a good shout. Rooney is not what he once was, RVP is close to past it based on last season's form, and we only have Wilson after that.
Who do we realistically think we could bring in, with the quality to fire us to PL and CL glory?!
Our injuries have started on schedule!

I reckon Hernandez could do well for us under LVG anyway. He has a knack for finding space and comjng up with goals in a packed box. That's what we often had to attack against.
It's not as if our strikers have been fundamental to our possession style anyway. Rooney, Wilson, RVP and Falcao were all pretty anonymous in general when played up front. That won't hinder Hernandez as he's always been anonymous in general play.

He had a good season didn't he? Not really seen him play, would he be good enough for a place in the squad do you reckon?

Javier Hernandez scored the last goal under management of SAF.

Surely it is an even greater shame if we are trying to sell him?
A shoulder injury will in no way affect Chico's ability to sit on our bench but it might scupper a transfer.

Hernandez is still the best poacher we've got.

Rooney can't keep possession of the football and he's captain.

Well still about as useful as loaning him out to Real where he played about 5 minutes.
Not up there with loaning out Nani for a season and paying his wages then selling him for around £3m.
