Completely agree about the squad players. Some dreadful players in our squad, surely we have some kid who will be equally as bad as Fernando but at least cares more.

It has to change this season, the likes of denayer barker and kelechi have to be more involved as it's getting embarrassing.

You can't say you're not active. You're taking kids as young as five from as far as Leeds here for training on a weekly basis, basically making sure you get first dibs in the north west if they turn out any good.

I don't think it's particularly fair on Wigan, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Leeds etc. as they don't have bottomless pockets and will lose any potential stars they might have nurtured (trickle down effect? Hah!) but it'll come up trumps eventually.

I agree with that post. It is what all the top clubs do though. I've long said it's the worst thing in football - they get poached up to 16 and it's not fair on the smaller clubs.

I know Melts, big clubs have always done that, but academies can have exclusive rights on kids when they're eight now (!). It's too young.

Tiki and the other guy better get some decent players or they will be looking for another club soon.

Rekik played 29 games for PSV as they won the Dutch title by 17 points.

Am not sure which is the greater achievement.....but I think we should have kept them both.
If a choice HAD to be made for this season....then the fact that Denayer is Belgian may have swung it........#Vinnie
